EZ Detect™ Colon Disease Test is the most convenient stool test for detection of hidden blood in the stool. No stool handling is required. EZ Detect™ is a simple, sanitary, at-home test. Just drop a test tissue into the toilet bowl, read your results within two minutes and flush the tissue. No stool contaminated waste disposal!
Hidden (occult) blood in the stool (fecal occult blood), one of the primary early warning signs of colorectal disease, can be caused by bleeding ulcers, hemorrhoids, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, fissures or colorectal cancer. Annual screening for fecal occult blood is recommended by the American Cancer Society.
Physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies utilize the test. EZ Detect™ Testing does not require any preparation or dietary restrictions before or during the testing period.
EZ Detect™ provides several test tissues to test 3 consecutive bowel movements for more peace of mind. As polyps don´t bleed all the time - 1 stool sample might miss them. A result card is also included in the box to record your results and to discuss with your physician at your next appointment. This test does not require a Doctor’s visit, however, results should be recorded with your doctor for future reference.

What To Do If The Result is Positive
If the test is positive (any blue-green color appears in the test area of the tissue) during a test, you likely have blood in the stool. Contact your physician for follow-up and further screening (such as colonoscopy) and testing. Strongly consider seeking an appointment with a gastroenterologist, (a specialist in digestive health matters).
